A development can be progressed that also benefits the land owner too with economic, social and environmental returns. There is a growing need for housing of this type. Many land owners would like to live this way themselves and need assistance to achieve that outcome.
FAH projects can take various forms, adaptive to the place and people. The Auckland case study was for a middle ring suburb where density was appropriate given the site location and settings.
